The Maple Review launched in early 2026 at Lloyds' London head office, a Steering Board member. The event welcomed small business owners, stakeholders and guests to introduce The Maple Review and its plan to tackle the barriers to entrepreneurship caused by economic deprivation.

Our very special guests were Joe Wicks who shared his story, Small Business Minister Blair McDougall and Xero's Managing Director, Kate Hayward. Thank you to Lloyds for hosting this event.

Hosted with our Steering Board member, BT, we gathered more than 30 small business owners at BT's London head office to discuss digital exclusion and really understand what holds people back digitally when looking to start a business. It was a fascinating discussion that fed directly into the Maple Report.

The Maple Review has collaborated with The 93% Club in Manchester for an upcoming Round Table inviting 20 small businesses, stakeholders and influencers for a discussion into the barriers to entrepreneurship faced by economic deprivation. Hosted at our partner Xero's Manchester head office, we look forward to an in-depth discussion that will feed into the upcoming Maple report.
